Leonard Jacobson
In Perth For One Only Satsang Talk and Weekend Workshop
Now, for the first time ever in Perth, you'll have the opportunity of attending a satsang talk and weekend workshop with Leonard. These events are for those who are deeply committed to their own awakening. They are incredibly dynamic, great fun, deeply healing and are a life changing opportunity beyond anything you have imagined. Satsang Talk (with Q&A) Friday, July 27th, 7.30pm start. Venue: Gurukula, Daly St. South Fremantle, Perth, W.A. A $10 donation per person at the door will be appreciated, but all are welcome. You're bound to enjoy Leonard's caring, yet uncompromising teaching, his deep insights into spiritual truth and understanding of the human condition. His satsang talks are always shared with directness, compassion and flashes of Aussie humor. His message to each hearer is: "As an awakened Presence living upon this earth, you are silent, present, loving, accepting, and allowing. You are compassionate. You are utterly without fear or judgment. You are free of all the traumas and limitations of the past and you are free of all anxiety about the future. You are peaceful, still, and calm. You are clear and strong. You are empowered from within. You are responsive and spontaneous. You are grateful and generous, and you live in constant awareness of the extraordinary abundance of this world. You exist in Oneness and you feel the living Presence of God in all things present. You walk lightly upon the earth and your life is a demonstration of integrity and grace. When you are caught in the world of the mind, and you are functioning as an ego upon this earth, you have become something less than the awakened Presence I have just described. " (Journey into Now, pp 51) Try not to miss this special evening. Dear Leonard I wasn't looking for a spiritual teacher and I have always felt uncomfortable and uneasy in my past encounters with those proposing to be such. What a pleasant surprise to have found you. Each moment in your presence was one demonstrating integrity, wisdom, authentic presence and trustworthiness. I easily chose to be present and trusting at the retreat with you at the helm. Thank you deeply for the service you are giving humanity. In gratitude,
Jacqueline Thomas,
Weekend Workshop Sat-Sun, July 28-29th, 9.30am start. Venue: Gurukula, Daly St. South Fremantle, Perth, W.A. In this workshop, you can participate in silence, you can ask questions or you can share anything that is in need of healing and release. The primary focus is always upon being present, and deepening into Presence. Someone once said that being with Leonard is like having a bath in Presence. But Leonard’s work is not just about being present. The following reveals what this work is really about, and what is involved in true awakening. A two step dance of awakening Leonard says, “I teach a two step dance of awakening. The first step is to choose the present moment as the truth of life. More and more each day, you choose to be present, rather than lost in thought. This means that you will have to choose to be present many times each day, until you become so fundamentally present that it is no longer necessary to choose. Your natural state is Presence. To be present and fully awake is simple. It is immediate. It requires no practice. It is a gentle remembering. But to remain present in your day to day life and in your relationships is not so simple. Most people can only remain present for short periods of time. It is not long before you are unwillingly pulled out of Presence, back into the world of the mind. Once again, you are limited by past emotional wounds and limiting beliefs. Once again, you become lost in your past and future. Once again, you become entangled in your relationships. Once again you are caught in a world of illusion. That is why the second step of this two step dance of awakening, is necessary. I refer to the second step as “doing the work.” The second step involves bringing to consciousness all the ways that you are pulled out of Presence. What are the hooks that pull you back into the world of the mind? What is preventing you from becoming permanently and fundamentally established in Presence? Until these questions are answered, how can you awaken, other than for a few short moments every now and then? "The first step leads to Presence. The second step leads to Mastery.” Get Leonard's Book

About Leonard Jacobson
He has a remarkable ability to tune into each person's needs and gently guide them into wholeness, integration and the awakened state of Being. He has been running workshops and seminars for the past twenty-five years offering inspiration and guidance to those on the path of spiritual awakening and enlightenment. His teachings and his presence are a powerful reminder that the source of life and truth is within each one of us. He was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1944. He was educated at the University of Melbourne, graduating in law in 1969. He praciced law until 1979 and then set off on a long journey of spiritual discovery which took him all over the world, from the United States to the Middle East, India and Japan. In 1981, he experienced the first of a series of spontaneous mystical awakenings that profoundly altered his perception of life, truth, and reality. Each of these enlightenment experiences revealed deeper and deeper levels of consciousness, filling his teachings and his writings with profound wisdom, clarity, love and compassion. He lives in Santa Cruz, California and offers evening teaching sessions, weekend workshops, and longer residential retreats in the United States, Europe, and Australia. He is the founder of The Conscious Living Foundation, a registered non-profit organization. In 2005, he was awarded the Peace Prize (see photo above) by Religious Science International, although he is not affiliated or associated with any religion or church. His teaching is both inclusive of and transcendent of all religions and spiritual traditions. It is for all those genuinely seeking to awaken, and for all those who do not yet realize that they are genuinely seeking to awaken. He is the author of four books, Words from Silence, Embracing the Present, and Bridging Heaven & Earth and his latest book, Journey into Now.
